    §4/29/15 I'm back!

    It's a good day! I hit pre-illness weights! I'm using lots of exclamation points!


    495x4x3, then 475x4. They felt slower than they looked on camera. Hooray!

    Then I went to teach, and had a beer at a faculty reception.

    Bench:

    375x4x4. Hot damn!

    Music: Rozzi Crane.

    I'll deadlift and press tomorrow while grading.

    Nice. Strong work as usual.

    My squats always feel harder than they look on camera. What I would call RPE 9 looks like an 8. Part of why I've started recording everything.

    I learned the same thing. Subjective feel is not as accurate as watching your actual rep speed. It always feels twice as slow as it looks. You finish the set and thing.. You finish the last rep and think it was kind of grindy, it was slow. You look on video and realize, the bar barely slowed down for just a portion of the movement.

    I might have to go to Louisville at the end of June. I want the record in 100% Raw, and that's the closest meet. I was hoping they would have an Illinois meet, but it hasn't come through yet.
