Hit me with your favorite meat head food selections from the summit of Mount Capitalism. And don’t come at me with canned tuna. I can get that shit at CVS.

What is GREAT at Costco for lifters to eat?

Might be different down here in Aus, but they have cheaper ground beef ($10/kg is wild) and also seem to be the only place that you can buy eggs in bulk (cartons of 60) for cheap.

Other than that, I don't think they provide a unique magical source of nutrition. One look at the food court would suggest that it's not a place frequently inhabited by the health-conscious.

Load up on their lamb roasts, which run almost as cheap per pound as their raw chicken.

Also, keep one or two of their 2lb packages of rotisserie chicken breast meat on hand. It's the meat from unsold cooked rotisserie chooks, so it's ready to go as soon as you cut open the packet. It's great for throwing on a salad or a quick sandwich as soon as you get home from working out. It's pricier, since it's processed, but you can't beat the convenience, which you are paying for. You'll find it in the cooler along with their pre-made salads, wraps, etc.

Of course, as Strategerie mentioned, even up here on the winter side of the globe, the 60-egg boxes are great (although our local one didn't have any this week, as they made room for the heavy cream, etc., for everyone getting ready for Thanksgiving). I know that you can get larger egg options at the chain grocery stores, but not for the price.

No need to mention the rotisserie chickens. Just grab a couple as you go through. It's a loss leader for them, so help them lose a bit more so you can gain more.

I second that. Costco, at least in OC, is weirdly unimpressive when it comes to protein pricing. That said, the ground beef (88/12) has consistently remained under $5/lb

Fish at Costco is a bargain (particularly the salmon and swordfish) and the lamb, while only slightly cheaper than at other supermarkets, is of the highest quality.

A lot of good suggestions already. I second the lean ground beef, rotisserie chickens, and eggs. Some additional go-to for me include frozen sockeye and cod, fairlife nutrition plan shakes, and the new kirkland whey blend is not bad.

I think the new kirkland whey blend is a bit too sweet, but at that price point, it's hard to beat.

I did egg shakes a few times. Soft boil six eggs ($1.10/six eggs if you buy the 5 dozen pack), blend that with some water and a pinch of salt. Tastes like drinking thin oatmeal. The British used to have a food called "gruel" which has since been colloquialized to mean "prison slop." It tastes how I imagine gruel would taste.
