    Hey, thanks, guys!

Dag, you can't imagine how far away my old record of 402 with the thickbar seems when I was looking at it on our board today. But I'm on the comeback trail yet again!

Wednesday is a nice quick and easy lift. I was done in less than 12 minutes.

    Front squat
    135-185-225-275x1
    Bent rows
    135-145-155x10

Nice light place to start this cycle.

I had to drop the DB bench today. Just couldn't get one of the collars off. Looks like I need to take some heavy duty sandpaper to it. Changed back to a standard bar, my wrists feel much better....for now...

    Close grip bench press
    140x15
    190x9 sets of 3
    285x1
    305x1
    Military Press
    135x5
    155x2x5
    Ab wheel
    15 kneeling

I'm feeling pretty good after a week off. Benches today were awesome feeling. My lifting partner stopped by to shoot the shit and talked me into trying a couple heavy singles. Heavy is relative, the heaviest was only 75% of my previous max.

I haven't seen baby bear but a half-dozen times in the past couple years. He's been busy with coaching, kids, family loss and now about to be a grandfather for the first time. We haven't lifted together in all that time. Each time we meet, and I lift at his house, he swears we'll get back after it soon. It would be nice, now that I'm healing well and can begin to push hard(er) in about 2 months.

Although I have to admit, it was absolutely awesome the time he wasn't lifting and I needed a liftoff for my close grip bench. He didn't have time but I talked him into it anyway. After I paused, blew it to lockout and racked the bar, he was curious how much it was because it was with our thickbar weighing 100lbs. His eyes nearly bugged out when I showed him (he made me count it up) that it was 402!

    Life was good!

I hope to be around a little more often, Wayno!

    Front squat
    135-225-285x1
    Bent Row
    135-150-160x10

    Finished in about 10 minutes.

Too busy and not enough sleep to lift yesterday, so I put it off until today. Felt about a bazillion times better. Or ten times.

My elbow has been a bit sore. Even so, CG's felt pretty good. Because of the soreness I did only one single after the light work. Even that wasn't expected, I'd planned only the light stuff. The soreness was gone by then and I thought to see how it felt. Pretty good.

It's getting harder to remember I'm only six weeks away from my one year surgery anniversary. A bit of soreness takes care of that. :xeye:

I just wonder, will the soreness ever be gone? Or will it haunt me forever when I stress my triceps? If it isn't going to tear away I can deal with the pain. Not knowing is going to be a bummer for a while until I figure it out.
