    Legs were sore today, but the squatting has taken the stiffness out. My press was misloaded. The guy in the gym with me misheard. I never checked. Re racked and lifted 70 for 4.
    Trained before lunch, get another wee hour in the gym later, so will go do weighted chins and press ups and stuff.

    At a retirement night on Friday night, drank some Guinness had some fun. Got asked if I used steroids!! Haha that makes me a lifter? Got asked how much I bench last year at a firecall too. So id say confirmation!! Anyway got up Saturday morning and suffered what I thought was the worst cramp ever in my left calf. It cant be cramp tho because fast forward to now, its still sore as fuck. Must be a muscle strain or something.
    I didnt have the time to train at work last night, we were far too busy. So trained tonight, it was supposed to be intensity day, turns out I felt like I was squatting on one leg. My back started to object so cut it short. My bench press didn't go, prob just head fucked. Went for deads, my back complained.
    Training wise all was going well, and now an annoying little thing like a calf strain has chopped me down. Ill need to see how it resolves. Maybe a day or two and it'll clear up. But just now its enough to have me limping. We shall see!!

    actually not deja vu cos I didn't do cleans. Calf felt funny still, but not sore. Slight spasmy feeling in my back when benching. Fuck knows.
    I've had a bad week. Ill leave it at that.
    Hopefully ill get a decent intensity workout on Monday.

    Apart from squatting. Poor session. Im obviously. The bench was just too heavy. I didn't feel in control of the bar. And the deadlift single left me feeling lightheaded and starry eyed. I only got 165 for an inch.
    Have I fucked up by going Texas method? Maybe. Have I killed the momentum I had? Definitely.
    The only tiny possibility of an excuse is the bar at work is thicker than the bar in my mates garage gym. I have tiny hands, and this may be enough to throw my bench and deadlift out, but not my squat. Im not sure tho. Volume day on thurday at work will maybe point me in the right direction.
