Put on belt added 15lbs to the bar
245 wouldn't budge,waited a few minutes put on 250/0 dropped to 225 got nothing put on 185 got 5 without the belt.Called it a day.WTF

I'm still working on getting my DL to 275 with Shuggs plan. I am trying something Shugg told me about some time ago Sqt and DL every other week.
Later this week I'll do a pressing lift, maybe do standing press one week and bench the next. Then pulldowns.
Hey Jerry, to answer your question about the halting DL...I've done them many times over the years, since I started out in Olympic lifting, and I do like them alot. I think they're very effective for aiding my own DL, but I did them a bit differently today. I used 35 lb plates, so I'd be forced to start the pull lower (like a deficit DL), and I definitely felt them more in my hamstrings. I also did good mornings extensively in the past, working up to around 260x8, and I'm considering working them back in again, alternating weekly with stiff-leg DL. I plan to alternate the haltings with rack pulls every other week.
Thanks Fifty. After looking at the video I sent to Shugg of my 255dl I think I need to work on my form.It seemed to me more of a SLDL.I need to get my lower back set more in extension.
