A few years ago I wrote about swelling in my thumb, of course it went away. You suggested gout. Well it hit my toe last week. Damn it hurt, I read it described like stepping on your eye balls. I went to Dr. and was given some pills to take for 4 days. Waiting for an appointment for a follow up with a specialist.
Going to do some SB sets, feel ok now.
Yes, I throw on 25s for the first set. I Drink at least one ounce of lemon juice in water every morning,
it helps break up the uric acid that causes gout. Also stay away from rich foods like heavy cream.
    Stay Strong!!

If you are having gout problems he will probably prescribe Allopurinol.
Another tip: don't let yourself get dehydrated, it can cause a flareup.
    Best of luck, gout sucks!

Yeah, this one gutted me (but not as much as Neil Peart). I first saw them on the Eliminator tour, then several times over the decades at venues scattered around the world. I was always impressed with how they could sell out arenas in countries where you just wouldn't expect it (e.g., Japan & Germany).

The first thing I did after hearing the news was also throw Tres Hombres on the turntable and cranked up Waiting For the Bus/Jesus Just Left Chicago.

1st Album I bought - with all the Texican food on the album When I first heard of ZZ Top my friend and I were 13 or 14 and cranked up the 8 track in his dad's truck listening to them. Almost killed the battery. Beer drinkers and hell raisers Yeah!

Excellent choice for a first album! Draining the battery to listen to that one over and over would have been worth the ass beating.

BTW, for that LP, even though it's a single album, it was a bi-fold like a double album. The Texican food pic covered the entire inside of the foldout. I sat yesterday listening to the album and looking at all of the details in that pic, which made me hungry.

Rush is my all time favorite band. Alex, Geddy, and Neil have always provided the soundtrack of my life for over 46 years.
When my wife broke the news to me about Neil, I cried like a baby for many days. It was like losing a family member.
I also shed a lot of tears when I found out Eddie Van Halen had died. It's tough when you've grown up with these guys.
I remember my Mom crying for days when Elvis died and I didn't really understand it, but I sure do now.
Stay Strong my Iron Brothers (and Sister)!!

Always good to see your videos. The story of you Mom crying when Elvis died reminded me when my Dad heard Bing Crosby passed away. He went on to tell me how great he was. I didn't understand then, but now I do. It's who he grew up listening to
