Thanks, Cole. I try to keep those up as they're one of the few accessory pulling movements I can do without shoulder pain. Old man problems.

    10/1/2024 - Intensity Day

    LBBS w/ 4" belt - 350 x 8, 315 x 6, 6
    Bench - 260 x 8, 240 x 8
    CGBP - 215 x 12

Good session today. On my last rep of 350lb squats, I lost the bar out in front of me a bit - I briefly considered dumping the bar on the pins. Instead, I was able to muscle it back into position, pause for a moment at the bottom, then finished the rep. It was ugly, but I'm pretty happy with the result. Bench felt good as well.

    10/2/24 - Pull/Press Intensity

    Press w/3" belt - 185 x 2 x 6, 145 x 8 x 2
    DL w/3" belt and straps - 405 x 10, 365 x 10

Not sure what the hell is going on, but the last couple of sessions have been absolutely epic. My stupid program called for 8 reps at 405.
I was a bit worried about hitting that, but the last warmup at 365 moved so nice. When I hit the 8th rep, I knew I had 2 more and got em. I remember doing 405 for 10 5 or so years ago, but at a much higher bodyweight (250 to 260 maybe?). I weighed myself after the workout today - 215. I don't get these kind of days very often any more. I'm stoked.
I took a video of my DL set. Youtube will probably mute it because the Van Halen I was blasting...

Great work! Man you have been a beast lately! Nothing wrong with Van Hagar either.

Deadlifts looking good! I like how you just go ahead and carry the loaded bar back to the rack after you were done (at least it looked like you were about to)

Thanks! I hate bending over to change weights, so when I can, I put the bar on the safeties for easier plate changes and removal. Laziness is a virtue.
