    Decided to put an extra light squat day, to keep the stress up between my weekly main squatday. Last saturday squat left me with a terrible doms. So I hope this helps keeping the muscles a little up to date. Just testing.

    The light sqts sound like a good idea. I've done that to avoid soreness, but did them as a warm-up before DLs.

    Not a bad idea, it so happens I have two bars, so I can do two warmups at the same time and save time, even though time is in abundance now days.

    I want this to be like a easy day, and it was, thats cool. I finally understood that I need lighter days to recover and not get mentally burned and give myself long ”restperiods” were I just detrain. Often those periods been during summer and several month, I have to stop that bad habit.

    I have just started with a lighter day during a normal week also. You are right about recovery.
