Had to work for Connor so I tried benching a little bit.
    bar x a bunch
    95 x 15
    135 x 15
    185 x 10 maybe
    225 x 5, 5, 5
    250 x 5
Still felt it but I would not have been able to do that a week or two ago. So it seems to be improving a bit.

Did some arms while he finished up work today.
Super set rope press downs and alt db curls
Super set machine extensions and machine preacher curls
Kept reps pretty high between 15-25 and did several sets of both.
It's the day after and my arms are very sore today. Feels good.

So, a couple weeks ago I benched a bit and hit 315 x 1 which felt slow and heavy but the video showed the speed was decent.

A week ago I benched again and kicked it up to 335 x 1 again it felt heavy and slow, and the video proved it was slower than the previous weeks 315.

This week I had a pretty normal training day (normal for me) and hit 315 x 2 and then 5 sets of 10 at 200 followed by seated cable rows 15, 15, 10, 10, 10.
Mostly felt pretty good today although when I unrack the bench, my wrists and forearms seem "sore or achey". Now that Connor is just about done golfing, I am hoping to have more time to get in my training and pay more attention to my diet.
I've never had this much down time since I started lifitng 3 decades ago.
As you see the title is "Training for life", I need to get back on my game. Just keep working around lifes little tweaks and twinges.

    Trying something yet again.
Back to basics, right down in the basement.
    Today was light squats.
warm ups followed by 180 for 5 sets of 4 reps
    Glad I did it.

So, legs are very sore from that piddly squat session.
Chest is fine from the bench session.
Today I went in to hang out with Connor while he was working and hit some arms a little bit.
Didn't feel like doing anything but I glad I did.
    Super set 1:
Alt db curls - Rope press downs
    Super set 2:
EZ bar curl - seated 1 arm OHExt
Kept the reps between 10-20 and it felt great.
