The chains are supposed to make it more of a fight to keep the DBs in the correct path, I guess? Not sure how useful that is, but chains can definitely pull you around.

On vacation this week on Nantucket and dropped in at the Nantucket Health Club for a mid week workout. Wasn't going to do anything crazy, just a light day so that I don't get too DOMS too bad when I return to civilization. The gym was small, but equipped with all Ivanko revolver plates and olympic bars. I guess being on Nantucket, they could afford to buy the good stuff. Didn't make squatting and benching with whippy olympic bars any better though.
