Squat suit squeezing your balls??!! uheuheue that's funny!!
If you have some spare time and money, come by for a visit. I'll show you around town and we can train together!
My gym, while more underground than yours, is still somewhat devoid of really strong guys. This is one of the valuable things in the forum: You'll look around and you'll find people stronger than you. Likely more than a couple, too. That puts you in perspective of what strong really means. My nemesis is Carnivroar, but to be fair he weights a good 15 pounds more than me and he's probably fat.

I've noticed this particular contest. Nice!
This perspective at first puts me down. I think: "fuck! i'm a cockroach among these guys!" but then I realize I've simply got to work harder.
Perhaps I take advantage of one of those promo tickets from Gol or Tam and show up for a weekend!!

We all had to work hard to get here, your case will hardly be different. Now that were are here, we have to work ever harder. Sucks, huh?

    Monday

General impression: today was crap day! hooray! My elbow is acting up again, so no squatting and also no benching, meaning not much of anything.

    Squat 355x5 (wraps)

I did then with straps (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2UfQrI_Lu4) in order to give my elbow a break. It did work, my elbow didn't complain at all, but it's quite awkward and somewhat unstable in the low-bar position so I only did one set. That one set felt strong, so I'm ok with that.

    RDL 315x5 335x5

Strong. I did those to make up for the lack of squats. Maybe it will help my deadlifts on Friday.

    Bench 225x3x2

Felt strong actually but my elbow didn't let me push hard. I'll do some volume on Friday to make it up.

Never seen that strap thing before, I wish I had nice high bar form like that guy.

It's gonna be useful for intensity day eventually, but it's too awkward for multiple sets.

I feel your pain, quite literally, but you certainly worked around it. Nice job.

    Oh yeah Carlos

    Do more deadlifts on Mondays.

It has been helping me I lot. I Just do one set of 10 reps at the end of my workout.

I was thinking of doing a set of SLDL as assistance on Monday but I barely have enough time to do my sets as it is. Volume day has been very heavy as it is, maybe after the meet.

You end up picking up some tricks of the trade along the ride, it's actually an interesting process, except this month is not the time to pickup tricks, it's time to get fucking strong.
