Default A minor back injury during deadlift

15 years ago I was doing 3x5 heavy deadlifts, and I really struggled with the last rep of the last set and my right arm was a bit lower than my left arm after about ½ of the pull and I suddenly felt pain in my lower back.

Luckily the pain was always very minor, like a mosquito bite which also reflected on my right thigh. Took about 1-2 months for it to heal and disappear (and the reflection on the thigh never came back), but it didn't interfere with my training so I never consulted a doctor.

Even after 15 years, the same minor pain in the exact same spot of my lower back keeps coming back when I use/move my back in a random movement pattern, but the sensation disappears in a few minutes and it never appears during rest or when sitting down.

Is this something that doctors could fix or am I better off just ignoring it (for now) ?

If you let a doctor cut on you to fix something that is not really a problem, you will have a brand new problem. And if you think that any minor pain has to be "treated" by the Medical Services Industry, they have you right where they want you. It would be much better to do the program correctly, which you didn't do.

Yeah I don't remember where that 3x5 on DL came from, but I quickly went back to 1x5.

I do remember that particular workout was around the second one after taking a month off from training and clearly I hadn't done a proper deload.
