    Default Sumo deadlift technique

The coming lifting season will be my second year as an intermediate lifter, and I would like to experiment with mixing the deadlift up by alternating pulling conventional and sumo. However, I have not been able to locate a good SS quality description of the optimal technique for the sumo pull. What would the key technique points be? Any input would be most appreciated.

I don't coach the lift, have never done it myself, and am therefore the wrong guy to ask.

Because it makes the back angle more vertical, which is good for some competitive powerlifters and trainees with very long legs and short backs, or very short arms. But it doesn't provide as much stress for the back, which is the point of training the deadlift.
