    Rip -

Every time I front squat, snatch, or clean heavy the outer part of my calf and/or fibularis of both legs get extremely sore almost immediately after my workout. Within two hours after finishing last night I was hobbling around the house. I am sore today but much less so than last night. It doesn't bother me during the movement and usually gets better as I warm up. Back squats don't bother me. Its been a nagging thing that has gotten worse over the last 3 months. I have tried to roll it out with a massage stick but the area is so tender it makes me jump.

Any idea what would cause that and how to treat it?

    Are you using knee wraps?

    I use sleeves. No wraps.

Try a blow-the-knee wrap. The compression might help.

Thanks. Slingshot makes a compression cuff. Would that suffice?

I don't know. I do know that a wrap will provide as much compression as you want.
