I have watched people change around me. If they weren't suffering, then they had family and friends who were. No one got away unscathed.

I was under no delusion that this was going to be fixed, but I certainly haven't lost hope in it as a possibility. So far, the Trump administration's actions have surpassed my expectations, but inevitably there will be blowback. There will be market impacts, and I hope deregulation allows the freedom for it to correct itself. There will be piecemeal attempts to derail many of these efforts, but if the Biden administration taught Trump anything it should have been how much you can accomplish when you stubbornly persist.

Certainly, there is the looming future threat of how much was both done by Biden and undone by Trump through executive orders being repeated. The States and the People have some time to get their feet under them, but it may only be four years.
Biden's term was choreographed so this guy would get in next. I get the need for hope, but cutting through all the razzle-dazzle of the last week, this is the reality: "We're going to need a lot of people," Trump Endorses Mass 'Legal' Immigration. - YouTube

A big, loud show will be made out of deporting people (which won't work, as unless you harshly punish the people who hired them - they will just return). However, the broad message for Americans is clear - your ancestors gave it all, created this miraculous nation and fought and died just so a graph can go continually upwards. Americans will be able to take comfort in the fact it will be done *legally*.

The problem with the electoral system is that Trump could have also publicly unveiled this horrific $500bn AI vaccine nightmare machine many months ago as part of his campaign promise, and people would have STILL voted for him. Why? Because, as Rip said many times to me, "Who else should I have voted for? Harris?"

Never mind Trump's track record with the vaccine scam the first time around. Never mind this Stargate project will require trillions in investment, and these investors will want to see tangible results. Never mind these tangible results will be a series of poisons to nullify the turbo-cancer effects of the last poisons. Who cares if Altman is a Transhumanist freak and Larry Ellison is a full-on Zionist. At least our guy isn't one of them.

I know this was for a different David. I know that there are plenty of terrible police interactions out there, and some place have outright lost their minds as far as the government and agencies belonging to it. But please hear me when I say this: I am going to get no different treatment than any other citizen if the federal government decides to crush me for nothing. Or because they didn't like the content of my speech. They won't take it easy on me, and there's no secret club. I get shafted almost as hard by the broken end of the justice system as the people I serve, and if I'm being honest it's taken its toll over the last few years. Not that I'm quitting, but I'm having to come to terms with how scuffed courts, laws, bail/bond and other systems are in a way where I can justify the cost to my family.

My main concern now, though, is how unprepared and understaffed local and state agencies and governments are for the resistance, likely in the form of violence, that illegal aliens are going to start once the shock and awe fades. Even the federal government, properly utilized, won't have enough badges and guns to cover all the bases. That's not to mention the ever-increasing likelihood of terrorist attacks.

Help your local agencies keep an eye on stuff, please. Be vigilant, and take responsibility in helping keep your communities safe. Maybe even get to know some of the people in your area.

Crap like that is why its ok with me to blanket pardon all the J6 persons, period.
Any shithead criminals will do other shithead criminal things and catch another charge. “It is better that ten guilty individuals escape, than that one innocent suffer.”

I gotta say, Trumps first week gives me a lot of hope. He's attempting to do everything he promised, and more.

Speaking from the podium (here: https://x.com/uTobian/status/1881939927287681279), Ellison did not mention terminally ill cancer patients; quite the opposite actually.
He spoke about blood tests able to find the presence of cancer precursors, and mRNA vaccines prepared based on the genetic profile of those precursors. So, they would be given to people who don't have cancer yet (that's why you can call them vaccines).

I don't think it would be a long stretch to make those blood tests, and consequent vaccine shot, as good as compulsory (via insurance policies and pricing).

    I did. It's terrifying.

Some good news! Has Trump set some kind of record for following through on campaign promises?

URGENT: Donald Trump is reinstating thousands of members of the military who were discharged for refusing Covid jabs

And they will receive back pay. Another promise Trump made - and kept.

I will never forget the emails from service members and their families. They started in summer 2021 and didn’t stop for a year.

I'm in the Air Force. There are many many people refusing the vaccines, and the Reserves held a town hall recently to try to persuade us. It was a disaster… There are thousands of military members that will be forced out in the coming months, and commanders are lying and ignoring their own regulations to make it happen.

    SNIP

More than 8,000 service members were discharged rather than received Covid jabs in 2021 and 2022. Others quit on their own - or accepted the shots unwillingly, fearing the consequences if they refused.

All so that Joe Biden could show left-wing Karens that he was serious about getting healthy adults vaccinated against Covid - whether they wanted to or not.

But Biden isn’t president anymore. (I know, if he ever was.)

    Donald Trump is.

And this morning, Fox News reported that Trump will keep the promise he made in his inaugural address and reinstate any discharged service members who request to rejoin - at their prior ranks, and with back pay and benefits.

There isn’t much more to say. The wheels grind slow, but they grind exceeding fine.

I’m still angry. I hope you are too.

David there are hundreds of thousands of local and federal LEOs that do not support the Marxist social engineers that have gotten control of the US government. You are not alone. The most important thing for you is to remain clear of being sucked into being a part of the apparatchik by exercising illegal control over citizens.

If a violent resistance breaks out, which I strongly doubt, you will find that the armed citizenry will work with local agencies to maintain order. The relationship that local agencies have with the armed citizens will be very important. Are your local agencies reaching out and supporting the citizens? America does not need to increase the number or capabilities of law enforcement. We don't need more armed government agencies.

And this is just amazing: January 6 rioter pardoned by Trump is killed by police in traffic stop | Indiana | The Guardian

An Indiana man who was pardoned by Donald Trump for taking part in the January 6 insurrection was killed by police during a traffic stop on Sunday.

Matthew Huttle, 42, was shot by a sheriff’s deputy after allegedly resisting arrest and getting into an altercation with an officer, local news outlets in Indiana report, based on the Indiana state police’s account of the incident.

Huttle was one of the more than 1,500 people pardoned by Trump on the first day of his second term in office for their roles in the 2021 Capitol riot.

Huttle traveled to Washington with his uncle, Dale, and both men were charged for participating in the insurrection. He entered the US Capitol for about 10 minutes and agreed to a plea deal that gave him six months in prison. His uncle, Dale Huttle, was sentenced to 30 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to a felony charge for assaulting an officer after he jabbed the police officer with a long flagpole.

The county sheriff in Jasper county, Indiana, said he requested the state police investigate the shooting. The officer was placed on administrative leave per department policy for police shootings, the sheriff said.

“Our condolences go out to the family of the deceased as any loss of life is traumatic to those that were close to Mr Huttle,” Sheriff Patrick Williamson said in a statement.

Another January 6 participant who was pardoned last week was rearrested on federal gun charges. Daniel Ball of Florida was detained for an illegal firearm possession charge, a case that predated but emerged from his involvement in the 2021 Capitol insurrection.

Police officers who were at the Capitol that day and political violence experts have warned that the pardons could lead to further acts of violence.

I don't even know what police violence experts are. I guess I wasn't born with the genes that let my mind notch out a high dollar living in an industry that doesn't need my opinion.
