I have a question for the Davids; "Bellwether elections" have been highly observable and well-documented phenomena since the days of democracy and republicanism in ancient Greece.
What is the emotional or sociological argument you are making that they now should no longer valid or should not be paid attention to?
Bellwether elections are rationally supported by thousands of years of data; but if you are challenging the validity of the theory itself, correct me and please explain your reasoning.
Is it only in the case of Vivek we no longer pay attention to the bellwether of bellwether states in Ohio?
Is it a new culture of Chinese-style nihilism in which we should not care or pay attention to politics, because we are too small and unimportant to change anything anyway?
Does the new way of thinking apply to donor groups that do not vote in the local election?
Should AIPAC withdraw its donations from the Ohio election, because Ohio is not israel?
How about the media?
Should the media only report on it locally, because it is of no consequence or interest to anybody else?
I would like to hear your reasoning explained; why can you not understand paying attention to this election or understanding the carry-on effects of it after it is over?
