    Instead of squatting with a plate under the heel why not invest in some proper weightlifting shoes.

    I can't really lean further forward without wideing my stance or not going all the way down...

    Flexibility issue perhaps?

    Ahh, ok, I just looked at your log and saw that you are doing high bar squats.

    Maybe you could post a video in your log and see if it's a form problem, so we're not hijacking this thread...
