    So quick history,

    First PL meet at 248

    Competed in strongman heaviest 275

    All time heaviest 279

Dropped to 227 for u231 comp in 2021 (my scale weighed me under)

On the way to u200 I tore my pec so went back boxing.

Now 207, be fighting in February (hopefully) at 189.

So question is this, how do people fair generally when not adding bodyweight on NLP and TM/HLM?

Currently eating 3400 this past week, weighed 210 this morning but I know that’s a couple lbs water weight also as I indulged a few days.

I’m around 22% bf, doing NLP to get my strength back to something not embarrassing, sparring once a week as of next week to keep rust off, and cardio work is at bare maintenance, because that comes back fast anyways when the time comes.

    What’s peoples advice?

Eventually you have to grow to get stronger. You can and will peak out for a given weight range. How tall are you?

    I’m 5’10”.

Weight class to fight is 189, or 202.

I’m carrying enough fat that 189 is doable.

I’m confident in my squat and deadlift getting back to my best at a lower bodyweight.
Bench will not be right till I fix my pec.

    Log I’ll eventually PR again
