Programming while lower body heals
I just completed my 4th month in my first go at SS. I've overall been pleased with my progress, however I recently have suffered a setback and my doc says no heavy squats/DL's for the next month or so. It's frustrating.. but I'm hoping I can use this time to improve my Bench and Press, which had slower gains.
Wondering what suggestions people would have for getting the most out of this next month in my upper body strength. Is the best option to just continue alternating Bench & Press with chins-ups? Or is it possible to adjust things to maximize my gains in some other way? (Benching/Pressing more often? Dips?)

If you can't do heavy squats/DLs, do light squats/DLs. Continue with the rest of the program as written.
