    Default Squat form check

    Coaches,

Can I please get a form check on this set of squats?

    My stats 184cm (6' ish), 128kg (282 lbs). Set of 5 at 157.5kg (347 lbs) from today's volume day.

I'm not sure about the depth on these and could probably stand to bounce a bit harder out of the bottom.

    Thanks!

Hi Pete, your squats are very high. You are several inches away from hitting proper depth. You may need to take a slightly wider stance and really shove your knees out. You're a big guy, with big guy thighs and a big guy belly. You've got to create space for that by getting your thighs out of the way. Shove your knees out a lot more than you think you should. Secondly, your wrists are very bent. We want perfectly straight wrists with all of the load on the back and none in the hands. Address these problems and repost. You may have to go to lighter weight to get the form down.
