I would really like to hear your critique on my form. I am just starting out and really want to work on my form. Please forgive the bad angles.

These are high-bar squats. Is that your intention?

No not all all trying to do high-bar squats. I am currently working on the positioning of the bar. Its kind of hard to find the sweet spot below my traps. So want to do low-bar squats.

Well, I don't just mean the bar position. Everything about these are high-bar squats, not the model we advocate. But here's a video to get you off to the right start:

Thanks for your quick reply. Just watched the vid, will watch it again. As soon as I implemented the lower bar position and feel I have improved my form I'll post another vid my technique. thanks for pointing me in the right direction. your help is very much apreciated.

I tried to position the bar lower this time. Is this going in the right direction?

Absolutely an improvement. Next thing to work on is hip drive. Do you know what we mean by that term?

I think so... leading with the hip instead of the chest. While my "high-bar-version" was focused on thighs, now rather focus on sitting back and driving up with my butt.
