How much should I be eating for my goals?
Hi all, I'm a ~35% bodyfat, 230 lbs ish 20 year old male, and I'm struggling from being very indecisive and being on the receiving end of a lot of very contradictory advice from varying sources
I very much want to get stronger and cut down my body fat content, but am confused as to the order of doing this and whether I should be eating 3500 calories a day and training as the book says, or if due to my very high body fat I should be going into a deficit, and then in this case, how do I do the program? I am currently eating between 2000-2500 calories and 100-150g of protein per day on average, and doing the lifts as instructed 3 times a week, but am unable to make jumps during each session as described. I'm aware this means that I am not actually doing the program, but should this be my goal given my personal circumstances? Should someone like me focus more intensely on fat loss before beginning to properly build strength and accept that their lifts aren't going to go up much for now, or have I got it all wrong?
Thank you in advance

I see you are UK based so I would also recommend getting a couple of sessions in with Carl Raghavan to get your form dialled in - very nice guy that knows his stuff, well worth the cost.

How tall are you?
How long have you been doing the program?
How big of jumps are you trying to take currently?
