It frustrates me to see on social networking sites that there seems to be plenty of barbell based gyms in America to train at with plenty of racks and bars. They seem to be in short supply over here in the UK although they must exist so wondered if anyone had any tips on finding one? Training in a commercial gym is ok for the minute but come January 3 racks isn't going to go very far.

It depends where you live. In york we have three or four crossfit gyms that can be used as open gyms.

They are not quite as plentiful here as it would seem.

Have you looked into university gyms? They tend to be fairly well equipped with racks and bars.

Although if you train in a commercial gym with 3 racks then you might have already struck gold.

    Hi,

there is a good PL gym in the Wembley area (actually it's closer to Alperton Tube station / Hanger Lane roundabout).
