Injured back question after Doctor visit.
So, I know you've given some pretty good answers on various injuries, and am curious as to what you think of this, after my doctor's visit. If you're not familiar with this kind of injury, then oh well, at least I tried ![Smile](https://startingstrength.com/resources/forum/smile.gif)
Basically, translated to english, the MRI showed two things:
1. left paramedian disc protrusion compressing the dural sac and touching the descending s2 root left in the lateral recess.
2. disc degeneration. mild diffuse bulging with cleft fibrous ring compressing the dural sac.
I hope that translation was good enough (google translate).
Doctor says that it could herniate in the future, but there is no real herniation. He says that I should be able to get back fully to sports with 2-3 months of physiotherapy (in his description, doing exercises on a balance ball, etc.).
I know your view on this, and am curious as to what you think I should do about it?
Thanks,
Matt.
