Strength Lifting Meet Rules Question

How do the rules apply to taping of the thumb for hook-grip deadlifts? Does this fall under Equipment #3 ".... Any bandages worn on the hands must be shown to the judges prior
to the start of the lift..."? Or is it prohibited?

On a related note, where is the best place on the boards to post questions about these events?

Tape is not prohibited. You can wrap your thumbs with it for deads.

As for where to post questions, probably the Staff Coaches Q&A is the best. I and the others are most likely to see it there and respond in a timely fashion.
