I am probably the wrong guy to ask about a bicycle wreck. But I'm glad you've gained weight.
Hey Coach
I had a bicycle accident earlier today and ended up messing up my wrists, I guess I was using my hands to break my fall. A few minutes after I got up, both my wrists started to feel like they had extremely horrible tendonitis. I iced my wrists as soon as I could, but the pain is still just as bad. There's lots of pain on the ulna side of the wrists, especially when I try to rotate them. It's really bad that I have trouble bringing them into a pressing or chinning position. It hurts a lot when I push on something with my palms.
I'm not sure if I should try to mend it the same way I would with elbow tendonitis--aggravating it more. I'm also not sure if I can do heavy presses. Advice would be very appreciated.
Also, a pedestrian who saw the accident was very surprised that I didn't break my wrists or arms with the way I landed. I'm pretty sure that would've happened if I were still 130lbs.

And you may have broken your wrists anyway (even if you can still use them). I had this happen to one of my athletes. The fractures (she broke both of 'em!) didn't show up on x-ray for several days as they were very fine and could not be resolved until some fluid was deposited in them.
Go see an orthopod who's also a weightlifter. They are getting more and more common.
yeah, I saw a doc and it turns out I have fractures on my ulnar styloids. Travis suggested I actually lay off of my wrists for a while.
