Don't know the bar. We'll axe.
Not sure which section to ask this but I have an opportunity to buy an old Berg Hantel bar. The information I can find is that they are German and manufactured the first Olympic bars that York and others were modeled on? Have you any light you can shine on this and is it worth buying to use? Thanks.

The Berg bar was probably the first modern barbell with interchangeable plates and revolving sleeves. They introduced it about 1910, and quit the business in the 1990's. "Hantel" means "barbell" in German.

If it's in good condition, it could be a nice historic piece of iron to lift with.
