Rehab After Layoff

In your book Mean Ol' Mr. Gravity, you speak of the need to get a friction massage to break apart scar tissue if you let a muscle belly injury heal on its own. A couple of weeks ago, I pulled a groin muscle by squatting and have been letting it heal because I did not read about the Starr Rehab Method until a few days ago. Do I really need to get a friction massage? I don't particularly want someone touching me in that area, if you know what I mean.

Just let it heal any old way you want to. Shyness trumps scar tissue every time.
