I have a spondylothesis on my L4. I discovered my freshman year in high school. I went all those years training with this at the original WFAC. I don't have trouble with it because I still squat and deadlift. I have been doing more sumo deadlifts of late, however, since I feel it places my posture at a more advantages position than conventional. What are your feelings on this.

Is this a spondylolisthesis? Or something else. Spelling is critical, Mac.

Your spelling is correct. Sorry for the incorrect spelling. I haven't given this much attention until heard someone talking about the crossfitter severing his spine when doing the snatch. I figured he probably had some type of pre-existing injury like mine, so I guess I'm looking for some peace of mind.

Ellen Stein has a spondylolisthesis, and her solution has been the sumo pull. The mechanics are certainly more favorable to the back, and I'd say you have both solved the problem correctly.
