Partial dead lifts
Coach, your videos about haltings, rack pulls and shrugs talk about switching to a rotation of these partials once one's dead lifts get to ~400#. I'm struggling with my deads and I wonder if you'd advocate a switch like this at a lighter weight for older newbs? I'm 53 and have been hanging out around 335 for too long. I'd really like to get to 4 plates with my dead lifts before my squat gets there. Thanks. Murf.
