just got a pair of Fat Gripz i intended to use for some grip work.

However i was curious how it would feel to bench with them and was really surprised. I used light weights and haven't tried them yet on some work sets, however it felt much more stable and the contraction in the chest was much better. I will definitely try them out again next time benching heavier.

Have you tried Fat Gripz / Thick Bars for Benching before? What are your thoughts on that especially when the weight gets heavy?
