Default How to request for a leg length discrepancy test ?

    Hello.

So I've been seeing a few different GPs, chiros and even physios in hope of getting a leg length discrepancy test. None of them did it, and just asked stupid questions like "why..?" etc. I told them when I squat, it's not symmetrical etc. I also have some issue with my right lower back, si joint area. Still, they did not perform it, said some bs like if I had a leg length difference I'd be walking with a funny gait etc.

So my q is, what do I have to say to get a real leg length test?

    Thx.

I send clients whom I suspect of having a LLD to a podiatrist (I absolutely sucked at getting repeatable results the few times I tried to measure).

    Look for good orthopedists.
    (online feedback sites for example.)
Most dont know how to measure exactly.
So you have to think for yourself, too.

I didn't see the post above.
I'm not saying orthopedists are better than podiatrists for this.

I lay the person down on the back on a floor or broad bench surface, normalize the pelvis, making sure that the ASIS is level across, then check the positions of the patellae, medial distal tibial epicondyles, and heels of the bare feet.
