What a F***'n Bargain. WOW. Do the people in Wichita know how lucky they are?
Think about it. Doing your lifting with the Coach right there to help....friggin priceless.
Are you fucking kidding me? The only gyms near me are full of those chestexpandernautilusdoofuckallmachines and the pricks running the joint want like $800 per annum to "train" there.Coach you are not charging enough mate!$75 down and $30/month, or $385/year. Why? You moving?
The people in Wichita Falls do not give a shit. That's why I only have about 70 members. This is a very competitive market, with 20+ gyms or places to train here, and my qualifications are irrelevant to people who don't even know you need qualifications. These people make up the bulk of any market. And that's just the way things are.
Hey Mark,
How do you work that with the crossfitting? Most crossfitting gyms are in the $100+ range per month. And many are growing like gangbusters. Do you charge differently for that since it is essentially a coached workout?
howard
My CrossFit facility is an open gym, where everybody comes in and works on their own. We don't have classes and I help on an individual basis. I know this is different than the vast majority of CrossFit gyms, but my particular situation here works best like this.
Now I really want to transfer to a college near Wichita Falls.
What you described is like my dream. $30/month for an open CrossFit gym instead of $200/month for five 1-hour sessions a week? DO WANT.
PLEASE expand into Houston, or at least encourage others to take up this model. There's a very large number of folk who love CrossFitting but don't have much expendable income (me, for instance), and this kind of thing is just serendipitous for them. Gosh.
