    Hello again Rip.
I trained about 18 months with the basic texas method styled program, but I need to find a way to fit my powerlifting training into it now. I tried finding help to these questions from the powerlifters I know, but this kind of training confuses them and I'm not enough experienced to see if there's something silly in this.

This is what the routine looks now.

    monday:

    Power clean 5x3
Squat 1x5 + back off stuff
    Bench press 5x5

    wednesday:

    Deadlift 1x5
    Front squat 3x5
Military press 3x5 (I might do log pressing instead of these two every now and then)

thursday: Mix between speed and light workout. squat and bench only.

    friday:

Power clean 5x2 (+2,5kg to monday's weights, next monday is 5x3 with this weight)
Bench press 1x5 + back off stuff
    Squat 5x5
farmer's walk every now and then

I also do kettlebell stuff, but it's only to strengthen my ab and ass area, usually it's just 2 moves done in a pair.

    Here comes the questions:

    1) have I bastardized the routine too badly to fit my purposes?

    2) I was thinking of doing the geared lifts so that every other week I do the 1x5 with my bench shirt which is also my widest grip and the other week is 3x5 raw with narrow grip. This gets me three different grip widths.
    - narrow at 3x5
    - medium at 5x5 (ring finger on the rings) and
    - widest with shirt at 1x5 (index fingers cover the rings)
The back off stuff would be something like 2-3x5 raw.
Is this setup for the shirt and the different widths a good idea?

    3) squat would be the same as soon as I fit into my suit. I was thinking of doing 3x5 box squats the other week. The back off stuff would be something like 2-3x5 raw. Good idea?

    4) right now I'm training 3 weeks hard and then 1 week light, so the first month I get two suited up sessions for the lifts and the second month only one. Do you think this gets me the right amount of suited up lifts?

    5) can I add reverse hyper to every workout?

    6) I'm trying to learn how to sumopull. Could I do the deadlift so that I move up to a bunch of singles with sumo pull and then finish up with traditional?

Sorry for the long post, I tried to cut it short but I had too many questions.

The post is fine. It's just in the wrong forum.
