I've been on SS for 2 1/2 months(not fucking with the program) & decided to get back into Krav Maga--I go twice a week for an hour. I now get gassed real quick when throwing lots of punches. My question is: would doing maybe 5 2 minute rounds(1 minute rest) on the heavy bag a couple of times a week on rest days be a bad idea?

Rip, what do you think of doing metcon - especially barbell based - as the light day in the Texas method? I like the idea of getting in some metcon, but adding an extra day to a full 3 day a week texas program is probably going to be too much for me to recover from.
I don't think it accomplishes the same thing, but try it and see.
