In the many squat technique opinions that Rip has given on this board, its beneficial to focus on what he usually does not say.......

How many times have we heard Rip say....

The stance is too wide

The toes are turned out too much

The knees at the bottom are out too wide

At the bottom the hips are too far back

At the bottom the shins are too vertical

At the bottom the torso is leaning over too much

There is too much hip drive to start up

We RARELY ever hear these things...if at all. The point is, these are the things that we should strive to be doing. In effect it will correct our squat flaws and get us on the right track or very near the model Coach speaks of.
