    Hard to say, Lots of people use DB shrugs with success. I dont simply because I want to shrug more then the 120 lb db's they have in my gym. Im not sure if you've read the rack shrug article up on this site but its where I got my technique from. I combined that with a website called chaos and pain who essentially say fuck perfect form and lift as heavy as you can. so I do grimey BB shrugs heavier then my deads and its worked great for me. Id encourage you to experiment though with both, If DB's seem to work better as you say then keep at it. Just make sure you give BB shrugs another go when your not satisfied with the weight your shrugging.

    lower body is still rocked from the weekend. decided to go light. couldnt do power cleans because they'd rip the scabs off my shins from sliding into bases.

    I had a bad feeling about my warmups so I had my friend tape them. UGLIEST FUCKING SQUAT IVE EVER SQUAT. Im going to blame my hip mobility but I need to overhaul this shit before my spine snaps. Going to get on the mobility WOD's hard

    Things are starting to go good again, just in time for them to get fucked again next month for a 3 week field Ex. Gonna ride the good wave while I can, what can you do.

    I was really disappointed with my squats on tuesday so I had to hit this right away, form was 100000% better. I might start squatting a heavy single for all my warmups on recommendation from a friend. This was beltless and in running shoes.

    Fuck ya awesome. last set was terrible from a lack of focus. 20 lb till PR territory.

    Well, Shouldve been in the gym on friday but I wasnt. Then i should have made it up on saturday, but I didnt. So i went today.

    Squat

    These were pretty shit, form wasnt terrible but they were slow and greasy. I may be resetting sooner rather then later. 3rd set 3rd rep I sunk the battle ship and drove it up with spine and knees, I have no idea how I finished the set.

    I dont know.... Ive got a nagging back tweak so I thought it smart to not pull from the floor today. why I only did 405 for 2, god only knows.

    Did these to make up for my lack of deadlifting, 185 was too easy however it was my first time doing RDL's.

    No real reason why I decided on these. I know I should incorperate a rowing movement somewhere in my programming so I thought Id try these.

    Yeah Navy, and to be honest I have it real easy with my lame job...but still always end up having some bs to put up with. Its like if you have a hard job, ok its hard. If you have an easy job they try to arbitrarily make things up just to be a pain in the ass.

    I completely know what you mean. 90% of the time I have an easy lame job too. When Its not busy, work is created to be busy.

    great training day today, got 10 hours sleep last night plus 3 mcdoubles for my preworkout.
