    Session 28 - 04/16/12

    Squat: 260x5x2, 260x4 ---> same weight
    OHP: 130x5, 130x3, 130x4 ---> micro-load from last successful session
    PC: 110x3x5 ---> +5 lbs

    Notes:
    Squat
    Form felt tight, kept the chest up much better this time. Felt like I descended a bit quick on a few reps. Ran out of gas on the last rep of last set, which is a million times better than Friday's attempt.

    OHP
    I'm hitting a wall with these. I know its form that's killing me cause I can't seem to get that hip drive down. Going to attempt one more time with micro-loading before taking drastic measures.

    PC
    Still working on form. Currently feels like I'm getting at least half of these right, which is better than 2 weeks ago when I wasn't getting any of them right. Yay progress!

    General
    I ate and slept much better this weekend but I'm on-call for work and got called at 5am today, making me work till 6:30am, which at that point, I had to go into work anyways so I started out the day kinda tired. I consumed a bunch of caffeine to get my ass going, but I know shit would've been a ton better if that stupid phone didn't ring. Still, hope's not lost on LP it seems.

    Moving to advanced novice so I'll be squatting light (80%) come Wednesday along with micro-loading the bench again.

    Session 29 - 04/18/12

    Squat: 210x5x3 ---> This was 80% of latest work set
    Bench: 190x5x3 ---> same weight due to fucking brospotter
    Dead: 310x4, 310x1 ---> same weight

    Notes:
    Squat
    This was a nice change. Having to do a quarter squat to get the bar out of the j-hooks sucks ass though. Really feel good about my form with this lift. I think I need to constantly work on keeping my chest up, but it's definitely better than it was last month, and that feels good.

    Bench
    First 2 sets felt great. Decided to get a spotter for the last since I got stuck at this weight before and jesus was that a mistake. had a choice of 2 people, 1 guy was in a zone it looked like, headphones blaring and the other was a some 20 something bro. i took my chance with the bro and fuck if that dude didn't keep his fucking hands on the bar the entire time. mother fucker! saying the whole time it's all me... I wanted to fucking say something, but I pretty much hold my breath thru the first 3 reps and by that time i figured, the whole set was fucked since I stuck with it. I'm just going to repeat the fucking weight and not use a fucking spotter. fuck that, i'll either rep them out in the cage or just dump the weights on the ground. fuck!

    Dead
    Working on my form with this lift now and it's fucking with my head. After the 4th rep, I lost my steam and felt the upper back not doing it's share the right way, so I stopped for half a minute or so, regrouped and pulled the last rep. I'm afraid I'm going to have to roll this weight back to get my form down unless I get some kind of physical epiphany.

    General feelings
    A couple of things...I wish I had someone to yell at me things like "go!, what the fuck are you waiting for?!?, keep your goddamn chest up!!!", etc...when I am lifting. I honestly think that would help. I also think I'm getting near the end of LP for me for a few of the lifts. I'll be able to tell by the end of next week. The maxes are just brutal grinds by the end of the 3rd set and with stalling once at right around these weights, I'm not going to keep on resetting.

    Note to self: eat more, sleep more, stop being a bitch with eating.

    Session 30 - 04/20/2012

    Squat: 260x3, 260x5, 260x4
    OHP: 127.5x4, 127.5x3x, 127.5x4
    PC: 115x3x5

    Notes:
    Squat
    The only reason I got past 3 reps because a brand new trainer at the place insisted on spotting me and since I have an issue just telling people "no, just let me struggle with them, that's how I work out", I let him do it. It was awkward and i don't want to do that again.

    OHP
    Heavy, very heavy after the 2nd rep.

    PC
    Still moving along and enjoying them.

    General
    Taking a deload week. I'm feeling burnt out.

    Session 31 - 04/23/2012

    Squat: 135x5x3
    Bench: 115x10, 140x10, 160x10x2,160x9
    Standing Press: 75x10x3, 75x9, 75x8

    Notes:
    This was a nice change of pace but i definitely think the volume was too much for being a deload. I just had a hard time not doing much.

    Session 32 - 04/25/2012

    Squat: 200lbx5x3
    Bench: 155lbx5x3
    Deadlift: 240lbx5x1
    Dips: 25lbx8x3

    Notes:
    I did about 80% of my last good maxes. Everything generally felt good.

    Hey man, it's still going.

    I stalled for a 3rd time at 260 and then just ended up switching to a variant of TM after reading a bunch of posts and watching that vlog by KSC. I'm still logging online, I just put it on a private blogger site that's all.

    I also ended up getting a ton discouraged seeing here everyone making huge numbers on all their lifts on SS which I'm struggling with. So I'm hoping the programme switch helps.
    I'm enjoying it so far.

    good job on your lifts man, i'm jealous of that 3 plate squat for reps.

    I'm glad to hear you are still going at it.

    I hear you about getting discouraged around here. For me it is the deadlift (and sometimes the bench,) but I plan on rectifying that shortly.

    What vlog are you talking about? I must have missed it.
