    Dang!

For those lifts where I lose track of sets (presses, cleans, etc.), I use a small white board and just do the old hash mark tracking. Back when I was using a commercial gym, I'd just use a chalk hash mark on the rack uprights to keep track, then clean them off when I was done.

I don't think multiple sets across matter if you can still progress a top rep set. YMMV

I think the problem, aside from me being addle-brained, is that when I was at a gym I had every set written on a piece of paper so I always got it right. Mostly. But now in my garage I don't use the pen and paper log, I just use this site to log, so when I walk from the garage back to the computer I lose track of things. lol oh well, not the end of the world; if this is my biggest problem life is ok

I print out a spreadsheet with my warmups and work sets, plate math pre done, and little boxes to check off as I go. I zone out resting and screw up too often otherwise.
(Once and a while, even still)

I buy this paper log from Amazon, but it's a lot cheaper on your side of the border.

The paper is thick, one page is enough for a workout, and there are 125 pages.

I write my workouts ahead of time, warm-up sets included. For the deadlift, I even write down what plates I need, since I'm still not used to loading the bumpers on the standard barbell. Dummy proof. Attached is a picture of my two upcoming workouts.
