glad it doesn't appear to be anything too bad but take off more time than you think. let it heal completely and then some.

Agree 100%, and I was very specific with the Dr and he was clear additional damage can not be done. If the season was over we’d just take a month off and keep lifting upper body. Unfortunately the biggest tournament of the year which he’s been working the past 11 months for is in 3 weeks. If there was even a 1% chance of further damaging anything I would have yanked him out but the Dr. said do as much as he’s willing to endure the pain. So we decided on 2 weeks off of wrestling and lower body and keep doing upper body then do a 2 week push into states and evaluate after.
