I'd like to see a little more chest squeezing before initiating the pull from the floor. Otherwise, lookin' pretty good.
how is my starting position? ive been trying to set my back at the right angle so my hips arent too low or too high. also youll notice i hook grip the first 3, then it gets too painful and i switch to alternate. really trying to get my thumbs ok with hooking bc i feel stronger double overhand

That looks good to me! Nice job! Your hips ascended on rep 1, 2 and especially on 4, but not terrible, IMO.
Regarding hook grip, it's mind over matter. Even if it hurts a bit just keep going. Eventually you'll get used to it and it won't hurt at all, no matter the weight. You should also keep going because some of the pain has to do with how and where you place/hook the thumb... you need to experiment with that a bit. You'll figure out what works for you with time.
Thanks for the input matt, and BBB ill keep it up with the hooking
Looks pretty solid.
There is no universal "right angle" for the back during a deadlift. Your hip height is determined by properly following the DL setup steps. Don't let the hips drop during the squeeze. Right now there is some minimal hip drop and then you see your hips ascend (slightly) before the bar breaks off the floor. That's robbing you of some power.
