I'm been experiencing shoulder pain for a few months. I think it might be a small rotator cuff tear. The only thing I can do with little to no shoulder pain are chins or light weight press/DB presses. Here's my question:
Am I better off progressively over loading my chins or sticking with the light weight presses?I know I won't be a great presser either way. My main concern is developing upper body muscle/strength. Will chins work all of my upper body muscles?

Chins will not work all of your upper body muscle.

    Progressively load/ train both movements.
