Just finished my LP at 290 x 5 x 3 on the squat and trying to figure out what weight to use for HEAVY on HLM programming.

Interesting. I just switched off LP to HLM a couple weeks ago and assumed the heavy day should be done at a 10% deload from the last 3x5 day. I assumed that's how it was supposed to be since I'm doing 5x5 on squat, bp, ohp and that's how PP said to set up the volume day for TM (didn't see anything about transitioning from LP to HLM in the book). Is it normal to continue where you left off when starting HLM after LP?
Depends on how this guy was failing. He didn't give a whole lot of context (and I kinda assumed he was a troll thus my glib response)...
I would have him take 295 for a top set then go 275x5x4 or something along those lines.
