Sometimes it feels like I'm stuck in a morass of molasses trying to get back to my pre-injury numbers, so it definitely is nice to hear that it's helping others out there going through injury, rehab, or just plain having trouble with training. I'm in the "only power cleans because those 10-15 Grade 3 ankle sprains on each side make it impossible to get my knees forward enough to stay sufficiently upright enough for a heavy front squats" club. So technically, yes. I have had the thought in my head that if I wanted to pursue actual olympic lifting, I'd need to learn to split clean and snatch because of that. And I might have to. But I'm giving it a go with the squat versions first to see if I can improve those things and use the squat style.
