Bench Press - able to use a little arch today for the first time, which also allowed better scapular retraction

I feel like your going to DHRIVE this curl LP to like 80lb dumbbells in a few months. I'm glad to see your back at it doing what you can.

80 lb dumbbell curls...but the gym's DBs only go up to 50.

    Bench Press
    45x15, 75x10, 95x6, 105x6x4
Pecs were actually a tiny bit sore from 95x12x3 the previous day, probably a combo of benching 5 days straight + lots of reps + not having done anything for 6 weeks prior, so even with pathetic weights, there was some effect. Not that anything was hard, and I could have easily done 105 for 12s or 15s or whatever, I just didn't want the unpleasantness. So dropped reps for this workout.

(Sitting in the same way as for the curls here, braced and supported by the bench so minimal ab engagement but slightly more so than in the BP and curls. 1 arm on my stomach, the other pressing the DB overhead)

Skipped "training" yesterday to go the Star Wars event at the NY Philharmonic. They showed Empire Strikes Back with the dialogue intact but the score removed, and the orchestra played the entire score live in time with the movie. Brought a packed house at Lincoln Center to our collective feet. It was also very enjoyable to see the regulars somewhat mystified with all these people wearing costumes and graphic tees instead of tuxes and suits, and cheering, whooping, and clapping throughout their favorite moments of the film instead of a polite applause at the very end. They even played the famous 20th Century Fox and Lucasfilm intros before the movie. It was, as the kiddies say, Lit AF.

Also, I out-angled the shit out of Vader himself.

Anyway, today, back at it again with the white vans. Or black No Bulls. Whatever.

45x10x3 - my hammies started cramping on the 3rd set, because god dammit, but didn't hurt at all so that's good.

Thanks buddy. Try not to be too jealous of my 125 bench and empty technique bar press. Pretty much crushing it over here.
