So after way too many injuries and time spent spinning my wheels, I finally squatted 4 plates today. It wasn't a very good rep: lack of hip drive coming out of the hole, bar traveled forward, followed by lifting of my chest made for one very difficult and ugly rep. However, I'm pretty sure this would still have been passed in competition (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
Perhaps more importantly though, when I start my next cycle in the new year, I'll have a new max to base everything off (will go conservatively with 175) and can continue moving forward. Next time I squat 180 it's gonna be a hell of a better rep.

This peak has gone incredibly well.
I went into this session with two nights of poor sleep, a sinus cold and a hamstring strain and still managed to pull 2 PRs. Probably should have just pulled 230, but considering that this past cycle only used a 210 max, I was just stoked to be pulling 5 plates again, let alone 501lbs.
Granted it wasn't the best rep, with the bar leaving my shins forward and thus causing a bit of "windmilling". I have to really work on that when pulling maxes.

Just a quick bro session today. I'm going on holidays for a week from Boxing Day to New Years, so I'm just playing around until I get back and start my next accumulation block.
