Great work, Alex! Those numbers are nothing to sniff at.
Thanks, man! I’m very happy with how strong I’ve gotten and how much my form has improved.
Fuck. Not sure what happened on deads.

FWIW, it happens to me around that weight too; there is no earthly way 320x5 is cake and 325 for 5 isn’t doable. My issues were/are:
Hands: i have smaller hands and so even minor differences in hand-bar junction have a big impact
Perception of weight: this is dumb, but knowing that I can lift more than a given weight for a single really helps me get a given weight for reps.
I imagine there’s accumulated fatigue from the last few weeks too.
In any case, you’re in good coaching hands and one off day isn’t anything to be concerned with. Keep up the work and you’ll fly past this
Hey, thanks man. Yes it is mostly in my head with a little bit of fatigue. My coach is helping me push through mental stress and fear as well. This happened with my 335 on Monday as well. That was just about where my last heavy set on TM was. I did my first set of 5, and then quit at 3 on both of the following sets. I just quit.
At least don't beat yourself up over it.
Also, more stones than I to go wading into E&P. oof, what a shit show.
You're doing great. I wish I had discovered this at 20--you're way ahead of the game.
Yeah, I've had lots of trouble with anxiety in the past. My biggest hurdle is mental and I usually dwell on training failures a lot. I'm working with coach to fix that.
I think I'm done with E&P. More headaches than it's worth.
Appreciate it, man. I wish I had discovered it sooner! I should be squatting 600 by now!
