Hot day here in sunny Melbourne.

    Squat 80kg 5/5/5
    Press 42.5kg 5/5/5
    Power Clean 55kg 3/3/3/3/3

Have a feeling I'm only just making parallel on the squats... will video and check next time. Press was heavy, Power cleans were a bit of a struggle. Need to do a lot of practice on these, maybe with lower weight/just the bar.

Not a great workout today. Bar weighed a ton, feeling dizzy after completing sets, and hurt something in my elbow on the squats - not sure how. I think my arm/hand position is wrong, it's settled down to a dull ache now but was hurting a lot.

    Squat 85kg 5/5/5
    Bench 55kg 5/5/5
    Deadlift 110kg 5

Still a bit suspicious of my depth, especially when they're a struggle like today. Will video on Monday

Interesting day. Had some obviously competitive power lifters squatting sick weights in the monolift to my right, and weedy kids 1/4 squatting 120kg with no warmup to my left.

    Squat 90 kg 5/5/5
    Press 45kg 5/5/5
    Power Clean 60kg 3/3/3/2/2

Squats felt great. Challenging weight, but I got good depth and had strong hip drive out of the bottom. Press was a bit of a bun fight for the last rep of the last two sets. Microload these perhaps after next session. Hit my nuts with the bar on rep 3 of set 4 on the power cleans! Moron Will keep the weight the same or small rise next time.

On track for 100kg by just after christmas, both squat weight and body weight.

Rubbish session today. My own fault, was out until 2AM drinking.

    Squat 95kg 5/5/5
    Bench 57.5kg 5/5/5
    Deadlift 120kg 5

The squat and bench are provisional figures only, depth was nowhere near good enough. Oh well, lesson learnt about recovery!

Major pain in my elbows now too, must have let the bar slip down into hands

Yep. Think I've definitely hurt both elbows as per the section in the book about not letting the bar slip into your hands. Anyone done this? Was painful enough to affect sleep last night

First day back, nearly a month after last workout. Had some injury time, then got called away to Europe on a business trip. Hotel gyms suck.

    Squat 80kg 5/5/5
    Bench 50kg 5/5/5
    Deadlift 100kg 5

Dropped a lot of weight, still felt pretty heavy. Can tell it's going to hurt tomorrow.

Getting bored of these unannounced trips. Hopefully that should be the last of.

    Squat 85kg 5/5/5
    Press 40kg 5/5/5
    Power Clean 50kg 3/3/3/3/3

A bit rough due to general tiredness I think. Took a bit to get back in the groove with the PCs too

I can feel that I'm GMing the last two of the last set, and a bit the last rep of the second set of squats. Not sure how to address that issue. Bench and Deads were good.

And again! Don't know what the hell is wrong, 95kg Squat again and the pain starts in my elbows. As soon as I unrack it. This is really annoying, going to see an osteopath on the weekend to get it looked at.

Too much pain to manage the Press or PCs today.

He says... Had to go back and complete it. Damn weights keep you honest to yourself, if nothing else.

    Revised log for today:

    Squat 95kg 5/5/5
    Press 42.5kg 5/5/5
    Power Clean 55kg 3/3/3/3/3

Forgot to post goal too, I will have a 140kg squat for 3x5 by July 1 2010. Hope the elbow issue is easily fixable.
