    Yesterday:
Time spent at boxing gym- 1:45 mostly heavybag/speedbag, no skipping rope, no sparring, some conditioning drills that the coach had everyone doing together (bear crawls, sprints, pushups w/variations, lunges, and a few other things ran as a circuit for about 15 min). skipped probably 6-8 rounds total time.

    Today:
Morning boxing work as previously described about 20-30 min.

warmup-general calisthenics, snathces with the bar and cleans with the bar.

snatches: 95xa bunch as singles and doubles, 105x1x3, 115x1x3, 125x1x3

    cleans: 135x2x2, 145x2x2, 155x1x2, 165x1x2

I felt like I had a lot left in the tank and was pretty tempted to bump the weight up to 175 and do another few singles but I figured having some left in the tank is better than being exhuasted when cutting weight. I have decided I am going to practice an S-curve on my lifts with sweeping the bar rather than a straight line. It seemed like I was able to get the weights up much easier than I was able to with a vertical bar path.

Boxing gym: 45 mintues- light p. cleans for warmup foolowed by speedbag a few rounds, then several rounds of heavy bag, two rounds of sparring. My upper trap on the right side feels real tight right now. I hope that some tennis ball action followed by a contrast shower and a good nights sleep will sort that out. I can tell the difference already as my conditioning improves the boxing is getting so much easier to hold a decent pace for the whole round while maintaining good hand speed. my hands are feeling beat up.

Yesterday-12 minutes shadow boxing, 44 minutes of skipping rope- 15 rounds practice.
I was supposed to lift weights but my trap was bothering me a little and I was feeling lazy and didn't feel like dragging all my weights down the stairs and back up. long story short I didnt feel like lifting weights but didn't think I should take the day off all together. Im completely pain free today. Very nice. Ill do some hang cleans with like 95 or 115 today just to keep the movement fresh in my mind.

Never did the hang cleans- but I did work on my form for fighting from a crouch for about 20 minutes.
