Hey guys, first-time poster. If this is in the wrong thread, then please move this post.

I am currently 18 years old. When I was 16, I made the mistake of getting the jab. Like most decisions of 16-year-olds, it was not a good one. I was convinced by my public school, which promised I didn't have to wear the mask if I got the shot. It turns out they straight-out lied. Now, after realizing the horrible side effects of the vaccine, I am quite scared.

I got the two Pfizer shots in 2021. Would there be any long-term side effects for me? Am I going to drop dead like people my age do on the field?

Or does this vaccine wear off?

    Thanks for answering any questions,
    Brendan

We don't know yet if the vaccine wears off, and nobody can tell you if will have long-term side effects without some tests they will refuse to do. But at least you learned about being lied to by people in authority. Never forget that.

What other vaccines have you had over the years? Just so there is no confusion I have been vaccinated for just about everything under the sun, I have been in places where disease in endemic and people die so I may have been injured by a vaccination, however I am over the hill so it does not matter any longer I have had my three score and ten.

If you want to know more about what was done to you this is a good resource:
WMC Research | Walter M Chesnut | Substack
Covers a lot of emerging research around covid and the spike protein, as well as repairing damage.

"Good" is obviously a relative term as no-one really knows what's good or bad.

If you look around, even on Twitter, there are threads for healing post-vaccine.

Pretty much every vaccine required by state law. I feel like these vaccines have stood the test of time better than the COVID shot. Could be wrong though.

Brendan, you need to just relax. At your age you have probably already engaged in activities that are far more likely to kill you than the clot shot. Almost certainly in the future you will if you intend to lead an interesting and adventurous life. Danger and potential death are a part of a life well lived. Seekers of safety and security never actually live, they merely exist.

I took the Pfizer shots (under duress) to maintain access to treatment for melanoma. It was a fair trade off in my opinion- near certain early death from skin cancer or potential early death from the shots. Neither one have killed me yet.

In the mean time I continue to engage in an active lifestyle that includes activities far more likely to kill me than the Pfizer shot or melanoma for that matter.

Don't live your life worried about statistics and the likely hood you can be killed. You do know that statisticians and some contributors referencing statistics on this forum are liars too, don't you?

Everything has a risk, it all depends at what level is the hazard and how you manage that risk. When I was working full time it was hazardous, life threatening in some circumstance, so you had to evaluate the hazard and determine the risk and what type of controls you put in place to reduce the risk. For example when I was volunteering for the the emergency services entering flood water was hazardous to attempt a flood rescue, there was fast moving water, floating objects, electrical hazards, panic stricken people, biological hazards from damaged sewer systems, fleeing snakes. So how to mitigate those hazards and lower the risk of death, proper training, working from a flood boat, wearing a wet suit, a line attachment, wearing a flotation device, and the one that concerns you at the moment, to counter act the biological hazards in flood water having a Heb B vaccination, Tetanus shot, influenza, even the dreaded covid vaccination. This is an extreme example, but you need to work out what if I do or what if I don't.

I have seen many people come down with Covid, some got really sick and ended up in hospital, some just got a mild case and those were the ones that got vaccinated, I got a hacking cough like I never had before, but I had taken the covid vaccination, but I was OK after a week, so what are the risks, what if I do or what if I don't.

Here is another example from my working days where I had to lift and move heavy objects like lifting a 50 Kg ladder onto a truck roof rack, working from heights with all my weight on my legs held by a anti-fall device with my hands in free air holding tools to work on high voltage equipment. The outcome of this type of work injured both my shoulders over time where I could not lift my arms above shoulder height, I damaged my rotator cuffs so management sent me to a doctor and physio, I ended up with cortisone injections in the shoulders and pulling stretchy bands to strengthen the shoulders. As the work was physically demanding at times I thought I need to do some strength training to prevent me from becoming injury prone again and I stumbled on Rippetoe's Starting Strength Program and I did it for I don't know 30 years or so. I was injury free right up until I retired, so I mitigated the risk of further injury from poor strength by doing SS.

So what if I do and what if I don't you have to work out.

You didn't mention if you had any symptoms. If you've had none, and you made it this far, without boosting, don't freak out over it. The stress isn't good for you. Just remember they lied to you and don't fall for their next trick.

And there is evidence that some batches of the vaccine are much more dangerous than others, so it's not guaranteed that you got the really bad shit.
